Your workspace is currently in a trial state with an inactive subscription, and all four payment attempts for the $5 Hobby plan have been canceled (likely due to the card issue you mentioned). We're unable to bypass payment requirements on our end. Once you have access to a valid card, you can subscribe at your billing settings. Free tier services will continue running within free tier limits until then.

inactive subscription?

Your workspace is currently in a trial state because none of the four $5 Hobby plan payment attempts went through (all were canceled), so the subscription never activated. Once you have your wallet tomorrow, you can subscribe at your billing settings with a valid card, and the Hobby plan will activate at that point.

im not sure what you mean by trial state - do you mean its still on the trial plan using the $5 credit. . . . of which i have 0.78$ left? i hope i dont use all that up before i get my wallet! does the database/files/code get deleted once its used up?

Yes, you are still on the trial using the one-time $5 credit grant, and you currently have $0.91 remaining. The Hobby plan subscription never activated because none of the payment attempts went through. When your trial credit runs out, your workspace reverts to the Free plan which provides $1 of free credit per month. Your code and databases are not deleted immediately, but any volumes on a trial account are deleted 30 days after credit expiration, so upgrading before then will preserve your data.

Yes. If you do not upgrade to the hobby plan, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan, which is $1/month. If you exceed $1 in usages, all your services will automatically be shut down.
You will not be able to redeploy your services unless you upgrade to Hobby or wait until the next month.

Yes. In https://railway.com/workspace/usage, you can set usage limits. When you reach the hard limit, all your services will be shut down.

so once the trial plan expires or runs out of credits it moves to the $1 plan but the site/app is not shut down - only when it exceeds the $1. . . . ?
