I'd like to know how the billing works or how the services are paid for. Are they charged in advance according to the plan, or are they charged based on usage at the end of the month?

Hey, you will be charged at the end of of your billing cycle based on your usage, plus the subscription (plan) fee. There are also examples in the pricing docs which I recommend to take a look at.

You are currently on the Hobby plan, which means you pay $5 a month. That means if your services' resources (RAM, CPU, Egress) cost <= $5, you only pay the monthly $5 fee. However you are charged for usage if you exceed the $5, meaning if your Current usage is more than $5, let's say $6. Then you pay the extra $1 as well.
Think of it as a "minimum spend" of $5. You will never pay less than $5, and you only pay more than $5 if your actual resource usage exceeds that amount.

I do not have a post-paid credit card at the moment. Unfortunately, I also do not have a Visa, debit, or MasterCard available, so none of these options will work for me.
Could you please let me know if there is any alternative payment method available (such as bank transfer, wallet, or any other option) that I can use to subscribe to the Hobby plan?
I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Hey, unfortunately, you will have to use a credit/debit card to subscribe to the hobby plan, other payment methods are not supported.
