I’m currently using the 30-day trial on Railway and I would like to better understand what happens after the trial period ends.
Specifically, I wanted to ask:
Is there an actual free plan available after the 30-day trial has been exhausted?
If so, can my deployed Express application continue to stay live on the platform?
Would there be zero charges under the free plan, assuming very minimal usage?
Is the free plan still active, and what features or resource limits does it include?
Is PostgreSQL hosting included in the free plan?
If I add a PostgreSQL service, would it incur charges after the trial ends, even with very minimal usage?

Does this $1 worth of resource usage resets? Like if I every exceed this, this would permanently shut down my deployments?

The $1 worth of usage is reset every month.
Your deployments will not be permanently shut down if the limit is reached. However, you will need to manually redeploy them once the usage resets. They will not automatically start back up again.
