Pausing account

I don't need to use Railway anymore but don't want to delete my account. Is there any way that I can pause it so I don't incur any monthly charges?

Hey, cancelling your plan (and downgrading to the free plan afterwards if you want) is what you are looking for.

I canceled the hobby plan but it says that my estimated payment is still going to be $5 for the next billing cycle. Do I have to delete my account to avoid all monthly charges? If so, can I sign up again later with the same credentials?

Railway can still charge you for your usage in this cycle (as your subscription is still running and you can technically still deploy and accumulate usage).

You can also request a refund within the billing section of your workspace, if for any reason, Railway still renewed your hobby subscription despite having cancelled it.
