Hi Railway team,
I have a PostgreSQL database on Railway that previously grew to ~120GB due to cached media
files. I've since cleaned up the data and my actual usage is now only ~9GB.
However, I noticed that volumes cannot be scaled down once expanded. My volume is currently
provisioned at 200GB.
According to your documentation, you mention "you only pay for what you use" - I wanted to
clarify:
1. Am I billed for the 200GB provisioned volume size, or only the ~9GB actually used?
2. If billing is based on provisioned size, is there a way to reduce the volume size or
migrate to a smaller volume?
My current cost estimates seem high and I want to make sure I understand the billing model
correctly.
Thanks for your help!

You are only billed for what you are using, not what you have provisioned.
If you have a disk that has 200GB allocated to it but are only using 9GB, you will only be billed for that 9GB.
