I have created my projects about 20 days ago. Me and my small team is only the test users of the application, but today i received an email saying "You have used $10.19 of usage so far". So I am wandering how the billing system works, and have we did something technically in wrong way that it charges us $10 so far.

Your Postgres service's network egress is responsible for $9.28 of the $10.14 total usage this billing period. On the Hobby plan, your $5 subscription fee includes $5 of resource usage, so you would only be charged the amount exceeding that $5 credit. You can review your per-service usage breakdown in your workspace billing settings. To reduce network costs, consider whether your Postgres database is being accessed by external clients or transferring large amounts of data, as network egress is charged at $0.05/GB.
