Hey all,
In the spirit of transparency: we're disabling the CDN feature.
It hasn't met our standards, and we'd rather pull it than leave something subpar in your hands.
To be clear, this isn't a security issue or a problem with the CDN implementation itself. We're reworking the behavior so it's more reliable when it comes back. Consider this us acting on your feedback: fewer features, but better ones.
The engineering team doesn't have a timeline for when the feature will return, but we know disabling it impacts egress costs in the meantime. If your costs look abnormal as a result, reach out — we're happy to waive them while we work on restoring the CDN.
We'll also be notifying users who had CDN enabled via email about this change.
