Hi everyone,
I’m trying to connect website registered with Webador, to my website running on Railway. The Railway service is online, but the custom domain shows “Waiting for DNS update.”
Here’s the setup:
- Railway project: Laudable Tranquility
- Website service: shameless-citizen-live
- Target port selected: 8080
- Custom domain: shamelesscitizen.com
- CNAME target supplied by Railway: a4nppk2c.up.railway.app
- Railway also requires a verification TXT record, which I have added and saved in Webador.
The last DNS configuration I checked in Webador showed:
- The root domain’s A record still points to 35.204.150.5.
- A wildcard CNAME (*) points to a4nppk2c.up.railway.app.
- The Railway verification TXT record is saved, but successful verification has not yet been confirmed.
Webador’s DNS editor offers A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, SRV, and TXT records. I don’t see an ALIAS or ANAME option, and I haven’t been able to confirm whether Webador supports CNAME flattening at the root. Its help documentation says users cannot modify nameservers themselves.
Has anyone successfully connected a Webador-registered domain
