Ongoing Railway outages in March – compensation and accountability?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing constant issues with Railway throughout the entire month of March. My app keeps going down, there are repeated network degradations, and overall the service has been highly unstable.

This has caused real damage on my side — including financial losses and disruption for users.

So I’d like to ask openly:

  • Who is actually responsible for these outages?
  • Is Railway planning to compensate users for the downtime and losses?
  • What concrete steps are being taken to prevent this from happening again?

At this point, it’s becoming hard to justify staying on the platform.

Alternatives I’m currently considering:

  • Render
  • Fly.io
  • Vercel
  • DigitalOcean App Platform
  • AWS / GCP

If stability doesn’t improve soon, I’ll likely migrate.

Would appreciate hearing how others are handling this situation.
