so i tried to install openclaw from github. started but never really worked.
then i got it started from a template, crashed for openclaw setup issue, he self destroyed himself when updatting the models.
so i deleted and reinstalled thinking there must be a template that work.
but each one come with their own issue
i dont understand what is the purposed of providing 6 templates, when most just dont work with railway, always some gateway or security issue from openclaw.
yesterday was the worst, an almost working openclaw was destroyed by the ai agent, and then i ran out of credit when the deployed version did not start anymore
this is borderline insane, this is an unfinished product pushed everywhere.
and there is not one documented install on almost any platform
for the record i managed to install it easily on an old laptop,
but i really wanted an hosted solution
the admin can check , i may have tried a dozen install
and for the record claude code is unable to debug these install
wtf is that mess
why would railway publish broken templates on their platform?

Hey, Railway templates are published by the community and not by Railway. It is best to get in touch with the template creator when there is an issue with the template.

@uxuz thanks for the info, i'm new to Railway. i understand these are complex issues with problems at different level. i managed to have one working, but no joking i tried each and everyone template, the older are the ones with connections and security issues. found out it is more an openclaw flaws than railway in most case, i painfully(paid api) discovered what you can and cannot do with that tool. you can edit the configuration inside openclaw, even when it is not working. the openclaw documentation is just bad. so now i can fix it when openclaw mess up the settings, and it tend to do it a little too much to my taste. and i use a paid model, because most of the free models just crash all the time.
