The issue I faced, my api was using up.railway.app domain (default public domain).
All API requests were getting ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

WORKAROUND
Add a custom domain

I had a domain in Couldflare, I routed a subdomain of it to my API, it started working. One click setup for Cloudflare helped too. Otherwise you need to add a CNAME and a TXT record manually to your domain name
