Hi Railway team,
My workspace was restricted on Sept 7 and my appeal was denied. I understand denied appeals are final and I'm not here to argue the policy. I'm asking whether someone can give it one human look, because the trigger was a five-minute mistake on an otherwise ordinary paid production account.
What the workspace runs: one project, mindful-peace, with a web service (FastAPI/Python from my private repo and a Railway Postgres. It's combinedchat.com, a browser-based viewer that shows Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Rumble live chat in one window, using each platform's public chat endpoints. Around 200 sessions a day, about $5/month in usage, on Hobby.
What I did wrong: on Sept 7 I created a third service from the public Docker image flaresolverr/flaresolverr to test whether it could load Rumble channel pages, which return a Cloudflare challenge to servers. The deployment failed at initialization and never ran. Within minutes I read what FlareSolverr actually is, understood it's not permitted under the acceptable-use policy, and deleted the service. That was my mistake; I didn't check before deploying.
What's changed: that service is gone, and I won't deploy that image or any challenge-bypass or anti-bot tooling on Railway again. The production app went offline when the restriction was applied, with users connected.
If the decision stands, I understand. If a human is willing to look, I'm happy to answer anything about the code or the workload.
Thanks for reading.
