Hi, the main difference is that my setup actually works

The current best N8N template is the template Jack maintains and it has no known issues, it also follows all the best practices when comparing it to any of the other N8N templates, it is by far the highest quality N8N template and I have personally worked with him to assure that.

I would still like to ask you to unpublish this template, duplicate templates decrease user experience, and increase support load when they don't follow best practices.

I've been using this one for over 6 months and it's been great. I seemed to remember trying other templates that didn't work. @brody, can you provide a link the other template you mentioned for reference? I see multiple ones.

Also, I'd like to upgrade to a newer version of n8n. How can I do that without loosing any of my N8N settings and workflows on this template?

I used this template, it didn't deploy the latest version of n8n and now I can't figure out how to update.

But the template brody linked to includes redis and says we'll be charged ingress fees for using it, so I don't want that.

Neither of these options is looking great to me at the moment.

N8N cannot connect to Redis via the private network due to missing configurations within their codebase, this is outside of both Railway's and the template creators control, and with that said, the template I linked is still your best bet.

Well I just tried it, and it's not working. Couldn't access n8n, then the deployment crashed. Restarted, still can't access n8n.

I've barely gotten started and I'm finding too many limitations with Railway. And while this template won't work with the trial plan, the one you want taken down does. Is that why you want it taken down? What's the point of a trial that doesn't let you trial the software you intend to use?

This template deploys since it deploys fewer services that fit within the limitations of the trial plan, I would prefer to have it unpublished because it is of lower quality than Jack's template, and thus produces a worse developer experience, so please do not make such accusations.

The trial plan has to have limitations, otherwise it will be easier to abuse the system, you can always upgrade to Hobby, and if you don't like it, ask for a refund, there's no reason we wouldn't refund you the subscription cost.
