Although cloud computing is often used by a company to set up its infrastructure, in some, rare, but existing cases, a user hosts multiple projects from different clients. This is my case and that of a couple of startups that have come along.
One feature I'd like to see is the ability to, once the billing is complete, at least approximate the total cost consumption by project. This way, we can charge clients separately for the hosting service and see real numbers.
Likewise, being able to see credit transactions in detail. When the monthly billing comes in, it doesn't specify 100% how much credit was consumed (you'd have to get a calculator out). Some sort of table showing the transactions in detail would be great, as would the income from templates, so I could see how much each template has earned each month, and so on. I know all this information is available in some way on the hosting, but I'd like a screen where I can see everything centrally and with a little more detail.
After all, even if this is the best hosting available, it is still a tool that later has to submit its invoices to the accounting systems of each company.
Basically, I'd like to see:
- More detailed billing, with costs by project and service, credit usage, and if the amount used on the associated credit card is missing.
- Details of the templates, what has been generated each month.
- Everything related to costs/payments/income centralized in a single screen with a little more detail.
