I'm a web developer based in Saudi Arabia, and I'd love to see Railway add a deployment region in Saudi Arabia, or elsewhere in the Gulf as an alternative.

Use case

I want to deploy applications for users and organizations in Saudi Arabia and the surrounding region. Hosting applications closer to their users could reduce latency and improve the user experience.

Current situation

Railway currently has no deployment region in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf, so developers targeting users here need to deploy farther away or consider other hosting providers. This can also make Railway harder to use for projects with local hosting or data residency requirements.

What I'd like to see

• A deployment region in Saudi Arabia, ideally, or another Gulf country.
• The ability to deploy applications, databases, and volumes in that region.
• Clear information about where backups, logs, and other platform data are stored, so teams can assess their data residency requirements.

Is a region in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf being considered? If so, could you share any plans or an estimated timeline? I'd also be interested to learn what factors have prevented Railway from expanding to the region so far.
