Milo: Well, what if we have it so to get the invite perks, you have to have a verified phone on your Discord account, also have SMS alerts enabled on Railway (once added), AND only allow a phone to be used maybe once or twice for verification on Railway (not sure how Discord handles this). (These requirements should be made very clear as well on the Discord Server…)

Milo: Community Server eligibility is a major perk. I also do not see a lot of people going out of their way, to get a VOIP number, when inviting real people is easier. Plus, you do not have to give as much as referrals do, maybe only give like $0.25-$0.50.

Once more, having a lot of inactive members is a bad idea - having less, more active members is always better.

Milo: True, but who would go out of their way, as I asked in my previous comment, to get a VOIP number? Also, since it is way easier to invite people, it shouldn't be as much as a successful referral is, maybe like only $0.25-$0.50… That also deters people from doing that, since it is not worth it in the end, monetary-wise…

Lukas Batema: Okay, so 5 VOIP numbers = 1$. A VOIP number is relatively easy to get hold of.
There are also bots to automatically create them, then make bots join over 2-3 days. This means 200 members could join via your invite using a VOIP and they would then have 50$. That's broken.
