Hi Railway Team,
I’m an active Railway user running production side projects, and I want to start by saying that the new Railway Agent is a game changer.
Over the past week, it has already resolved ~70% of my failed deploys by analyzing logs and opening fix PRs. It genuinely understands my system better than my local setup in many cases.
That’s exactly why I’m writing this request.
The gap: no way to act when I’m away
While the Agent can now diagnose and fix issues, I currently can’t access or leverage it when I’m away from my laptop — which is when production issues hurt the most.
When something breaks today, I can’t:
Monitor system health in real time
Quickly inspect logs
Trigger deploys, restarts, or rollbacks
Use the Agent to diagnose and fix issues
This creates a gap between detection and resolution, especially for solo builders.
Feature Request: iPhone App for Ops + AI
An official iPhone app would unlock the full potential of Railway — especially combined with the Agent.
1. Mobile Monitoring & Alerts
Real-time service status (uptime, errors, latency)
Push notifications for failures or abnormal metrics
Quick access to logs and recent deploys
2. Deploy & Control
Trigger deploys (manual or latest commit)
Restart / rollback services
Basic environment variable management
3. Railway Agent on Mobile (the real unlock)
Bring the Agent into a mobile chat interface connected to my project:
Analyze logs and identify root causes
Suggest fixes based on runtime + code context
Generate patches or PRs
Ask for approval
Deploy after confirmation
Example flow:
App crashes → push alert → open app → Agent analyzes logs → proposes fix → I approve → deploy → resolved in minutes
Why this matters
Railway already abstracts infrastructure incredibly well.
With the Agent + mobile access, it becomes something much bigger:
An always-on DevOps companion
A platform where issues can be resolved anytime, anywhere
The most developer-friendly cloud experience in the market
Right now, the Agent can fix problems —
but without mobile access, I can’t always use it when it matters most.
Closing
I’d love to see Railway extend this experience beyond the dashboard and into mobile.
Happy to test early versions or provide feedback if this becomes a priority.
