🚀 Feature Request: Vector Databases on Railway

Hi Railway team,

My name is Luis Hernando Martínez Londoño and I’ve been really enjoying using Railway for my projects, especially the managed databases like Postgres and Redis. However, with the growing need for AI and semantic search in modern apps, it would be amazing if Railway could support vector databases out of the box

.

Specifically, I’d love to see support for:

  • Redis with Redis-Search / Redis-Vector

  • Qdrant (as a dedicated vector database)

This would make it much easier to build apps that rely on embeddings, semantic search, or recommendation systems, without having to manage the infrastructure manually.

I believe this would make Railway a go-to platform for developers building AI-powered apps, since vector databases are becoming essential in this space.

Thanks a lot for considering this!

I think Qdrant is already available as a template https://railway.com/deploy/i1tz3T
