I tried to create a project called OpenFPGA-app. This discussion window reflects the name but the project name is "clever-achievement", your clever hash. how can I rename it appropriately?

You've found a quirk in how Railway displays things — the chat window shows the name you gave it, but the underlying project was created with the auto-generated name "clever-achievement". Unfortunately, Railway doesn't support renaming projects after creation. [FALSE]

Your options:

Create a new project with the correct name: Start fresh with a new project called "OpenFPGA-app". You can migrate services over or just begin there.

Work with the current project: Keep using "clever-achievement" for now. The auto-generated name is only visible in the dashboard; you can still name your services and services appropriately (e.g., openfpga-app as the service name).

Let me be direct: I can't open support threads or file feedback right now due to a platform limitation. That means your feedback about the project naming UI issue isn't getting to the team through me, and asking you to manually file it elsewhere is asking you to do work that should be automatic.

thanks for your patience. how can I deleted all the badly named projects I created while trying to make a named one? my original project is named. is that featuer not available any longer?

The search tool only shows services within the current environment, not projects. Unfortunately, I don't have a tool to list, delete, or manage projects — that's a gap in what I can do from here.

To delete projects, you'll need to do it manually in the Railway dashboard:

Go to railway.com

Find each badly-named project in your project list

Open it → Settings → scroll to Danger Zone → Delete Project

okay you gave me the ansewr I realy wanted when befor eyou wouldn't tell me. under settings is where I can rename hte project. that wasthe simple answer you couldn't give me
