​I’m Samuel. I'm a senior fullstack developer and SRE for some companies here in Brazil, and I’ve always had this idea of bringing simplicity to infrastructure management. I wanted to abstract away all that complex tooling we usually have to know just to set up an application properly.
​With the money I’ve gathered from the projects I've worked on, I actually had the exact same business model in mind as Railway. Of course there are a bunch of serverless tools from the big players like AWS, but they force you to use only their resources. Other platforms that compete in the field, like Fly.io and Digital Ocean, seem to care more about sponsorships than their own community.
​You guys actually care. You reward people for contributing with questions, templates, and responses, and most importantly, it’s open source. That was basically what I was thinking while I was trying to build something, but you guys already did it.
​So, that’s why I’m reaching out. I wanted to express my gratitude and admiration for the project, but I’d also like to know if you guys are accepting more devs on the team. I’d love to join, even if it’s just to solve some specific issues as an assessment.
