I like Railway. It's a great service with many features. However, I believe that the PRO plans could be improved by including a $20 resource usage allowance, much like the Hobby plans. This allowance could be applied monthly, rather than per seat. The reason is that some important features, such as regions, are only available in the PRO plan, but the current pricing of $20 is too high for solo developers who only require one or two features from the higher plan.

Yeah I would love it too! I run clickhouse, and 8gb can be constraining for a service node on Clickhouse. Would love the PRO plan if it had $20 (even for the whole team, not per seat)

That would be great or just charge the 20$ after exceeding the free 5$, like in the hobby plan. The PRO plan also mentions that all hobby plan features are included, but the 5$ aren't :)) Its kinda misleading

Agreed, same $5 free resource as the hobby plan was kind of implied in the pro plan to my understanding.

so you guys saying that if I switch to PRO plan then 20$ is not included? ok then the wording is totally misleading, I was considering switching to PRO plan because thought that 20$ would be included same as in Hobby plan. based on that i might reconsider that decision

Based on the wording, it would seem to me that each seat gets the $5 allowance. This is currently unclear.
I do see that the $5 is a "gift" and not a "feature". But at the same time, that could just be flair, and it is a feature. If so, then the question would be: "does pro team get $5" or "does it get $5 per seat" or "does it get $0 of allowance"?
