I'm using local development for a few different projects and using the hobby plan to easily show the involved parties on the development and letting them go thru it and come with feedback.
Many issues ive stumbled upon there isn't an answer in the forums or on google.
Is the answer to pay $20 bucks just to ask the question that will deciede if i can stay and upgrade my plan? and if you say no i need to find another hosting provider and i had to pay 20 bucks just to ask a question which every other company in the world would have answered for free in order to get me as a paying customer?
A bunch of similar stuff like launching other services within the same code repo on different domains and/or ports, when i try to use the custom start commands to execute the artisan commands i just get errors cuz the php extension pctnl isn't loaded yet so they cant be started with custom start commands like the queue workers for example.
Add some way to contact you in regards to questions that will give you more customers that pay higher tier plans. Been MANY cases during the development where there were no answers in the forums or google and had to spend MANY hours or trial and error and getting pretty sick of it, i hope you can find some solution for the problem or it will be both easier and cheaper (counting the time spent) to go to a regular VPS provider. And all questions has been related to the biggest PHP Framework on the web with no answer in your docs, if you want to keep the policy to not let lower tier customers talking to you, then you should at least have an extensive, up-to-date FAQ and tutorials section (there are many VPS hosting providers you can look at and get insipration of which has sooooo many tutorials and help articles to keep the support tickets to a minimum).
At least give a few questions for free or take a few bucks per answer and when quota is filled u need to upgrade. Using you cuz i want it to be easy and use you in production as well not just a fast staging provider, dont know if that is possible tho since i cant even contact you to ask the question withou paying you 20 bucks...
Dont want to pay $20 bucks to ask a question which every company in the world would answer for free to get you to sign up to get you as a customer, never heard of a successfull buisness plan that is built that way, usually you have a dialog with your customers to make sure they are happy especially if you want to sell them a more expensive product.. Sorry for being a bit repetitive but im a bit annoyed and happy with the experience otherwise despite the somewhat complicated stuff when you have a monorepo with a bunch of services in the same code base
