Currently, Railway offer private networking on per-project basis. We would like to request a feature that enables team-wide or organization-wide private communication across separate projects.

Our use-case

We run multiple application with its own database, caching, backend, frontend, and Mailing service.

Having a Mailing service for every application seems wasteful of resources and management. We want to spin up a centralized Mailing service which can communicate with all other applications, currently, we are required to communicate over the public internet.

• Latency Overhead: Public HTTP/HTTPS requests introduce TLS handshake and routing delays.

• Security Risks: Expose public URL to the internet.

• Increased Costs: Moving large volumes of internal data over public URLs incurs unnecessary internet egress fees.
