Hey I have a very simple app with almost no usage. The pricing page said 1$ after the free plan, but why is it asking to upgrade to the hobby plan for 5$?

Railway will prompt for an upgrade if you have used up the $1 of free credits available.
Additionally, the free plan only provides 0.5 GB of RAM and volume storage. A deployment exceeding that may also cause Railway to prompt you to upgrade.

Hi,
The Hobby plan costs $5/mo. You are charged upfront for the subscription cost, and the minimum amount you pay is $5/mo with $5 of usage included (it is not a discount). To summarize:
Minimum Cost: $5/mo buys you $5 in usage. This is the minimum cost for using Railway on the Hobby plan.
Usage Under $5: You are still charged $5.
Usage Over $5: You are charged $5 + any additional usage you incur.
Please refer to https://docs.railway.app/reference/pricing#plan-pricing for more information.
Hope that helps!
