5 GB or 100 GB disk on the HOBBY plan ?

They help me understand why, with the hobby plan, the database size limit cannot exceed 5 GB.
When I signed up for the plan I noticed that the limit was higher.
I may not have understood something completely.

Volumes are limited to 5GB, volumes are for persistent storage.

The 100GB you speak of is for empherial storage.

Databases need to persist the data between redeployments, so they use volumes.
