So the volume should still inside your project canvas

You can start a new postgres service and mount the volume to your new postgres service

Yes

if you just delete the postgres service (and not the volume too), you will see it on the canvas

but if you deleted the volume too, you will get an email from railway about scheduled deletion of the volume which still can be restored 48 hours after scheduled deletion

I don't think service name matter, you can name it anything you like

I was cleaning my services… and deleted a useful one

do you see an unmounted volume like this on your project?

If you don't see any volume on the project canvas, then you might be deleted the volume too

When you delete a volume, you'll receive an email about the scheduled volume deletion, you can click the restore button on the email, you'll be prompted to confirm for volume restoration, and click "Restore" to restore the volume and mount it to your new postgres service
