I accidentally deleted Postgres DB (Today 13 April).

Initially, I deleted the Postgres DB. Then the whole project. Then I restored the project. But it cannot restore the DB service.

Can you help me restore it asap?

It contains critical business data.

Will really appreciate your help.

Thank you!

If you don't have backups enabled I don't think anybody can help you...do you see the db volume?

It was deleted unfortunately. The project looks empty. I recreated the Postgres DB, but it's empty now. I was on Hobby plan, so it didn't have any backup there.

As fra mentioned, don't think Railway can help much if you don't have any backups.

Also, is it possible that your Postgres service automatically upgraded its own version? (eg, from 17 to 18 or something similar)

There were instances of Postgres services automatically updating itself after a redeployment, which caused it to not be able to read any data from the volume.

Nah, I deleted it with my own hands, I don't know how it happened. Really stupid mistake on my end. No one to blame unfortunately.
