Account recovery: login emails not received, need a private verification channel

Hello Railway team, I cannot regain browser access to my original Railway account, which owns a production ERP project. Email login codes are not arriving, and the active GitHub login opens a different, mistakenly created account. I am contacting you through that accessible account.

Please provide a private channel to verify ownership and recover the original account. I am intentionally not posting email addresses, project identifiers, billing information, or credentials publicly. Your team@ email autoresponder directed me to Central Station.

Only AFTER recovery and verification that the mistakenly created account has no necessary resources or links, I would also like assistance deleting that duplicate account. Please do not delete or change either account, any project, service, or database before ownership verification and explicit confirmation.

How can I securely provide the required evidence to Railway staff? Thank you.

The account this thread reaches (your GitHub-linked account) is on a Trial plan with no active services. Your production ERP project is not missing from it; it belongs to a separate account that was created under a different sign-in identity. Signing in with GitHub reaches this account, which is why you see an empty workspace. To reach the workspace with your project, you need to sign in with the identity that originally created it.

Railway authenticates through external providers and we cannot change, swap, or link login identities between accounts, provide a private verification channel, or restore access to an account on your behalf. This is a security boundary that protects both accounts, not a policy limitation, and no amount of ownership evidence changes the outcome. We also cannot merge accounts or move projects between them.

If the login codes for your other sign-in method are not arriving, that is something to resolve on that provider's side. Once you can receive those codes again, your existing login to the original account will work as before. If you later want to delete the Trial account you are writing from, you can do that yourself from Account Settings.
