Account wiped? Very confused

I just logged in with my GitHub account which I'm fairly sure was how I logged in before, but now I can't find any of my projects, billing information, etc. The projects still work, but I can't seem to find them in the dashboard. Halp?

Can you check your different emails and search “Railway” to see if you can confirm that the same email attached to your GitHub account was used?

Any emails like login requests or deployment crashes.

I tried doing this but sadly can't find any Railway emails. I had one indexed that was already deleted so I couldn't check where it was sent to

I'm logging in using my GitHub account which I had used already (I'm on the free Hobby plan)

Was just about to ask haha, hmm

I had also connected my Discord account but it doesn't seem connected

Wild assumption would be that for some reason there's two Railway accounts associated with my GitHub account and I'm logging into the empty one

I might have switched my GitHub primary email at some point, maybe that's a problem?

Ah, there we go: I logged into Railway using my old GitHub primary email address, and I'm back

Ah, you changed your GitHub primary email?

My guess is that when I logged into GitHub just now, it created a new account under my new GitHub primary email address

Yup.

instead of logging into my existing account

that is probably a bug? :)

Would definitely be nice to have the connection account-based as opposed to the email.

it also seems that my "old" account has been unlinked from GitHub

Probably somewhere along the process of linking your updated new account, can’t have two.

Should be able to unlink it on your new account, re-link it on your old account, and delete your new account.

I’m not sure how determining Hobby wavering works, whether there’s still algorithm behind it or it’s permanently set, so I’m not sure if there’ll be any interruptions with that, but feel free to let us know if it does for whatever reason; not sure since it used to base it of GitHub account reputation or whatnot.

it did show up as having the Hobby wavering available in the new account

it's unclear to me to see if I do have wavering enabled in my old account
