All services shut down on subscription renewal every month. (18 Sept)
This has happened a few times already.
Problem summary:
There seems to be a moment that my account is in the state of free trial during the automatic plan renewal, causing the service crash. It is quite annoying.
---
GitHub service:
The logs said that the container size exceeded the limit. That size limit should only be applied to the free trial. but I am hobby plan
```txt
Build › Build image (07:15)
Image of size 7.5 GB exceeded limit of 4.0 GB. Upgrade your plan to increase the image size limit.
```
MongoDB service:
The logs said an error and started shutting down.

what might be happening is that during the subscription renewal window, your account may briefly appear as “free tier,” which triggers limits like the 4 GB build cap and can cause services to restart. This shouldn’t be happening on the Hobby plan.

We have a grace period, so, this wouldn't be possible? I'd check into your application, there might be something that does a monthly vacuum/compaction causing issues?
