When I click on the "eye" icon to view the API key, it displays the old key that is no longer valid. When I click the "edit" icon, the correct API key is displayed. Why is this happening?!?!

After editing a variable, the reveal (eye) button can show the previous value because it reads from a cached query that isn't refreshed by the edit. A full page refresh will sync the revealed value to the current one.

I even quit the browser and it's still displaying the incorrect key when viewing it, and the correct key when attempting to edit. Please advise!

Try delete the variable > deploy > add the variable with new value > deploy
