App down while deploying

I noticed that my app in production environment is offline for at least 5 minutes while deploying. I looked at the logs, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Is this to be expected every time I push changes?

Currently deploy times are longer than ideal so your service gets taken offline for far longer than it needs to be on account of two deployments not being able to access the same volume at the same time.
Railway is aware of the slow downs and is continually improving them.
