I have successfully completed deployment but app url failed to load. I have completed and followed all necessary steps.
I got this messages when I checked the deployment log:
ERROR: Application startup failed. Exiting.
INFO: Waiting for child process [3]
ERROR: Child process [3] failed to start, stopping the parent process.
INFO: Waiting for child process [3]
INFO: Waiting for child process [4]
INFO: Stopping parent process [1]

- Missing start command — Check your Procfile or start script is correct
- Port binding — Ensure your app listens on the port Railway provides (use process.env.PORT or $PORT)
- Missing dependencies — Run npm install or equivalent locally first to verify
- Build failed — Check if the build step completed successfully before the start command ran
To debug: go to your service → Logs tab → look for the actual error message above "Application startup failed". The real cause is usually logged right before that line.
