We use EC2 for hosting our models and servers. We have numerous scripts for deploying our app to EC2. However, we use Railway for our database (PostgreSQL).
Since Railway likely uses AWS services (assuming so because the region codes are the same), will private networking work in this setup?
Using a public network is not secure and very slow.

Hello,
We do not use AWS, we currently use GCP and are planning to move off of GCP onto our own metal regions.
Regardless of the underlying infrastructure, the private network is scoped to a specific environment within a project.
For optimal latency I would recommend keeping your AWS hosts and Railway services in the same region.
