Service: codex_anatomy (FastAPI backend)

Issue started: Around July 16, 2026

Problem: Every deployment builds successfully but is immediately marked as REMOVED, preventing the service from ever running. This has been happening consistently for all deployments since July 16.

What's happening:

Deployments build without errors (all steps complete: SNAPSHOT_CODE, BUILD_IMAGE, PUBLISH_IMAGE, CREATE_CONTAINER, CONFIGURE_NETWORK, DRAIN_INSTANCES)

Deployment status shows SUCCESS but is then marked as REMOVED

The service shows "Active" in the dashboard but is not actually running

Service domain doesn't resolve (DNS fails from multiple locations)

This affects both the old domain (codexanatomy-production.up.railway.app) and the newly regenerated one (codexanatomy-production-dc30.up.railway.app)

Timeline:

July 15: Initial setup, deployments started working

July 16: Last successful deployment ran, then immediately marked REMOVED

July 16-20: All subsequent deployments either SKIPPED or REMOVED

What I've tried:

Redeployed the service multiple times

Regenerated a new service domain

Verified from multiple network locations (DNS doesn't resolve anywhere)

Service config appears normal, no obvious misconfigurations

Current state:

Plan: Hobby (free tier) - within all limits

Latest deployment ID: 3cec1d44-f42e-4b99-909e-5ddc5dfaa0b4 (REMOVED)

Service has no errors reported, but deployments are being systematically removed

This appears to be a platform-level issue with either deployment lifecycle management or account restrictions.
