I need some help with a billing issue.
When I signed up, I got $5 free usage credit. Later, I subscribed to the Hobby plan ($5/month), which includes $5 of free usage per month before any extra charges.
Now, after a month, my expected bill is showing $6.11, even though my total usage is $3.98, and I should still have $1 remaining from my plan’s free usage. Also, the $5 free credit I initially received is missing, even though it was supposed to be added to my usage.
Can someone clarify why this is happening? Would appreciate any insights!

Two points to clarify:
The 5$ free credit is not preserved when you upgrade from trial to hobby.
The hobby plan provides 5$ of ‘free’ usage, which is included with the 5$ subscription fee. You are charged such that if your usage is <5$, you pay 5$. If your usage is >5$, you pay your usage.

The expected bill is an estimation of your services’ usage over time. Assuming your services use a consistent amount of resources, you will be charged 6.11$ at the end of your billing cycle

As I said above, the estimated bill is your estimated bill by the end of your billing term.

It will always be higher than your current usage except for the last day of your billing term
