I don't think this is Railway related, are you sure you aren't spinning up two instances of the bot? Maybe on two different envs?

E.g: 1. Two of the same service on Railway, 2. One instance running locally and other on Railway.
Other thing you could do is check if bot is already running through code before starting a new bot, afaik you can do that with discordjs

Unfortunately, I can't help you debug your discord bot! The best thing you could do is join your discord bot framework discord server (discordjs, sapphire…)

btw i am using render.com and i cant see any discord support from them
