Broken unsubscribe — Still receiving changelogs despite disabled preferences

I’m writing to call out a frustrating bug in your user settings. I have explicitly disabled all email communication preferences in my account—including changelogs—yet I am still being spammed with your weekly updates.

For a developer platform, failing to respect a simple user preference state is a pretty embarrassing look. If your infrastructure can handle complex cloud deployments, your backend should be able to respect a basic opt-out toggle.

Please manually remove my email from all marketing and changelog distribution lists immediately, and pass this along to your engineering team to fix the sync issue.

You're right to call this out, and I'm sorry. I dug into it directly: on our side your account is now fully opted out, changelog off, marketing off, and globally unsubscribed, and I've confirmed you're not on the changelog distribution list. You should not receive further changelog or marketing email from us.

To be straight with you, you also found a real bug. Our granular email toggles weren't reliably propagating to our sending system, so some of the opt-out switches weren't doing what they claimed. We're fixing that now so it works correctly for everyone, not just by manually removing you.

If any further email from us reaches you after today, reply with it (full headers if you can) and I'll trace exactly which send it came from and shut it off. Thanks for the push, it genuinely helped us find and fix a systemic issue. — Angelo

I have the same problem. I unsubscribed from all email notifications, yet, every Friday I receive email from hello@news.railway.app

Please help to remove my account from all marketing email lists as well

Okay, I merged what I believe to be the fix, seems like somewhere along the way, the flag didn't connect to customer io. Terribly sorry, I get annoyed too when I get email I dont want.

Going to see if its resolved for both.
