Got a weird issue where my builds will sometimes take longer than 20 minutes and just fail. Not sure why it's happening build times takes around 30s or less in my local env and this didn't happen before…

error

stoa build: ✓ built in 1.77s
stoa build: [start] [nitro] Building [Nitro] (preset: `bun`, compatibility: `2025-12-10`)
stoa build: [success] [nitro] Generated public .output/public
stoa build: vite v7.2.4 building nitro environment for production...
stoa build: transforming...
stoa build: ✓ 2894 modules transformed.
Build Failed: build daemon returned an error < failed to solve: Canceled: context canceled >

I have to redeploy a couple of times until it works. My app is using tanstack start and I use nitrov3.

My build cmd is a simple bunx --bun vite build

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I raised this internally and we're still knocking out some of the weird bugs with metal builders but it looks like this should be set. Can you try to abort any stuck builds and try again? Can do command + k and select "deploy latest commit".

If you see the issue again please let us know! Want to work out every bug found.
