Account verification is an automated process based on factors like the age and activity of your connected GitHub account. You can initiate or check your verification status at railway.com/verify. If your account does not meet the automated criteria, upgrading to the Hobby plan will fully verify your account.

This is very intransparent and doesn't help at all. My GitHub is pretty old and active. And if I click the link, I get redirected and it doesn't show information about the verify status.

The most reliable way to get verified and publish templates is to upgrade to the Hobby plan ($5/month), which grants full verification immediately.

This is scam. Why do I have to pay $5/month just to publish a free template that benefits everyone?

Is there another way to get verified or do you just tell everybody that there would be other ways too to keep them calm?

Verification exists to prevent spam on the template marketplace, not as a paywall for templates specifically. The two paths are the automated check at railway.com/verify and upgrading to Hobby. The automated check uses undisclosed criteria that we cannot override or manually waive. If that changes over time, the automated check may pass you by, but the Hobby plan is the only guaranteed path right now.

The Problem is that I can't check on https://railway.com/verify because I get redirected to https://railway.com/workspace/plans. I understand the dilemma you are in, but I would wish an easier way to get verified, e.g. a SMS verification code. Anyway, I got the answer to my question and thank you very much for the effort and will therefore resolve this thread.
