Cannot connect to Redis

I got a crash notification for my Worker without any code changes (I'm using this template https://railway.com/deploy/n8n-with-workers).

I then got a Temporary Performance Degradation notification for Redis.

Your Railway service will be affected by an infrastructure maintenance event.

Even though it's been much longer than 30 mins, I am still unable to connect to Redis in the Railway UI, and my app is not able to either. My app logs show it repeatedly timing out trying to connect.

I've attempted to re-deploy the last successful build again and it's stuck in the 'creating containers' phase.

Retried deploying different Redis images etc. and same thing - stuck in the creating containers phase.

Hmm it pinged healthy over public url but I do see that UI not loading. I'll go ahead and ticket this so we can accurately track it!

My app not being able to connect to Redis was resolved by itself after a few hours - I think it was down around 2 30pm and up again around 5pm Pacific/Auckland time.

I am also now able to connect through the UI now too.

Lastly, I am now also able to re-deploy it, so all my issues appear to have been resolved.

I don't really mind about the UI connection not working but having an unplanned outage is worrying - especially when the response is "hmmm looks up" well after it's up again.

Completely understand that. However, there was not much to see indicating an issue. That said, this should not be happening, and if you run into anything like this again, please let us know.
