I have set up my custom domain formicle.com with Railway. It works fine, but I also want to have mails on this domain. My provider is Zoho, and I have previously tried added the CNAME to redirect my domain to Railway, but then Zoho asks me for a TXT record. This doesnt seem possible as I have to put the TXT verification under a subdomain (mail.formicle.com) - Has anyone been able to accomplish deploying a custom domain with Railway, and has been able to keep their mailserver seperately as well?

for this you would need to manage your domain with Cloudflare and use their Proxy, that way you can have MX and TXT records at the root alongside the CNAME at the root
