I want to connect a domain named "matrixshop.bd" to my service but when i press "add domain" it dont work . says this message "Error adding custom domain
Failed to create custom domain, please try again" . project name "matrix-shop" and service name "poetic-empathy"

The add is failing because matrixshop.bd can't be used as a custom domain on its own. Bangladesh's .bd is treated as a top-level suffix, like .com or .co.uk, so a bare matrixshop.bd isn't a domain a certificate can be issued for. That's why you get the generic error instead of something clearer.
The fix is to add a subdomain instead. Something like www.matrixshop.bd or app.matrixshop.bd will work. Add that as your custom domain in Railway, then create a CNAME record at your DNS provider pointing it to the target Railway shows you.
If you specifically need the naked matrixshop.bd with no subdomain, that isn't something we can support for .bd, since certificates can't be issued at that level.
