Canvas not rendering (page unresponsive) - works in mobile mode, desktop mode crashes,

Hi, I think I’ve hit a bug with your visual canvas. One of my services spammed an enormous amount of logs, and now it’s not possible to view that specific project in desktop mode in the browser, on my laptop or my phone. The canvas doesn’t render and the page becomes unresponsive. On my phone in mobile mode it still works, but as soon as I switch to desktop mode it hangs. In Firefox on mobile, it works with a small window width; once I stretch it wider, it becomes unresponsive. Is there any fix or workaround for this? (Service that was spamming has been deleted).

Could you test using a chromium based browser?

Also, show the logs on the console when the error happens

It is browser independent, tested on Brave previously. There are no valuable info in console:

It has to be connected with my service spamming like 300k lines of logs per day, even the UI parse only 1000 lines, somehow Canvas is affected.

yeah, prob it's trying to do some math or smth like it, feel like you will need to wait for the railway team, sorry for wasting your time

Thanks, Railway CLI is useful, but not every functionality is currently available.

@Brody Any way you can do a temp fix, remove all possible logs stored for this project so I can work normally? it is extremely inconvenient working in mobile mode.

We have a ticket for this, but all other reports on the ticket is of this skeleton loading state happening intermittently, if this is constant for you, it might be something on your end.


So on two separate devices on different browsers , Xiaomi mi 14t pro , brave, Firefox , kubuntu Firefox opera, and windows Firefox brave, on same network, and on mobile LTE broadband it is constant. This is logically impossible to be on my end. Please elaborate if you mind so I can resolve it if it is on my end.

support like this won't scale and no 100mln of $ will fix it, unless you hire support guys who actually answer to questions


I am moving away, liked your service a lot, but you push me to self host everything, thanks for motivation.


for anyone struggling with "issues" , look into self hosting coolify, this is what I will do


hopefully march will be last time I spent money here, time to go
