It happened yesterday and I thought it was a once thing, but now it happened again 🤔
What could this possibly be about?

I'm sorry I can't really see.. but what's wrong with it? did the positions reset?
Yes, yesterday it was arranged differently and I think there was like grouped services
ive had the same problem https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/1397846511026573413
even if there isnt any groups, occasionally when loading services would be halfway across the canvas or all ontop of one another
It was kinda of random, I've been using railway for about 6 months and this never happened
When I switch between projects, I get this in the console, and that error toast, I don't know if it has something to do with this

Same! I had a string of similar errors today, and my canvas was rearranged, just like yours.

Same problems and not the first time!

Hey everyone,
We are trying to get to the bottom of this. Has it happened to anyone in the last few days (this week)?

Hi there!
For me, it hasn't happened like the original complaint, but yesterday it moved, a minor change.
I've attached two images: one shows how I normally have everything, and the other shows how it appeared, more grouped.
Nothing crazy, but I don't know if it happened because I deleted an environment that was like synced to production.

Seconding this. Its a big issue. I spent hours organizing my canvas and its all messed up now. Frustrating.

If you have the project id that would be really useful in us debugging. I'm also curious if you have multiple environments. There is sometimes confusing because the positions of services is synced across environments so changing things in one environment and then switching back to another environment and things can sometimes be placed unexpectedly

interesting. I suspect it has to do with another member of the team moving things around or things being moved in another environment (since they are global). We have a project this quarter to solve both of those. but the "randomly resetting" is a big issue we want to (and think we have) fix immediately
Hello guys, it just happened again. This is what the console looks like, idk if that helps

This looks more like someone moved things around in another environment, that can cause unintentional positions because the canvas positions are synced across environments

do you have multiple environments for that project?
And in this particular case, that project doesn't have another environment, just production for now
