Hi Railway team,

We’re encountering an issue where the canvas view (service architecture diagram) for our project "team9" is not loading properly.

Issue description:

When opening the canvas, it remains mostly blank and does not render our services.

We consistently see the following message:

[Canvas loading slowly]

The canvas is taking longer than expected to load. Please wait or try refreshing the page.

The issue persists indefinitely and the canvas never fully loads.

Observed behavior:

• The canvas background loads, but services do not render correctly
• Only partial UI elements (e.g. a single service block) may appear
• The diagram never completes loading

Scope:

• Affects project: team9 (production)
• Other projects load normally (no issue with canvas there)

What we’ve tried:

• Waiting for 30 mins+
• Refreshing the page
• Logging out and back in
• Trying different browsers
• Testing on different machines (same issue across team members)
• Switching to other projects (canvas works fine there)

Additional context:

• Services themselves appear to be running normally
• The issue seems isolated to the canvas / visualization layer

Questions:

• Is this a known issue with the canvas rendering?
• Could this be related to project size, service graph complexity, or a corrupted layout state?
• Is there any way to reset or debug the canvas state for a project?

This issue is currently blocking us from understanding and managing our service architecture visually.
