Good evening, I want to understand, because I made a payment of 10 dollars on March 5, 2025 and during this period I didn't even use Railway, but I already have no credit and my account is free, I don't even know what this amount was spent on. Another thing too. I've tried several times to delete the projects, but I can't.

I don't understand, because when the month ends, and the advance payment is not made, you immediately cut the plan, as you did now, so how can it be from a previous month, if we have to pay in advance to use it?

I would like you to help me, I went to pay the future and they didn't accept my card because it's not a credit card (I don't have a credit card), what I don't understand is that the invoice from March 5th in the amount of 10 dollars was not paid with the same card that I'm trying to pay now.

The hobby plan on Railway has a base-cost of 5 dollars per month, though this includes 5 dollars of usage for free, meaning your initial payment immediately goes into paying that base-cost

Here's what I think happened: Since you put 10 dollars on your account, 5 dollars went towards your plan. Then since a month passed the recurring 5 dollar cost occurred again which lead to the other 5 dollars being used, leaving you with no credits left.

You mention the following:

Railway actually doesn't require you to pay in advance, it sounds to me like you're on a credit-based plan. This type of plan has actually been discontinued for new sign-ups. If you don't like this method of payment and would rather have Railway charge you at the end of the month (instead of requiring you to pay ahead of time) then I'd recommend switching to a usage-based plan. You can do this by creating a new workspace and deleting your old one if you no longer need it.

What I would like to know is how to purchase the plan with a debit card, as I do not have a credit card.

Debit cards work fine, I use Railway with a debit card. If your debit card isn't working then I recommend contacting your bank and checking if they're blocking the payment or something.

But if you notice in the image I sent, you will see that when I try to pay with my debit card, it is declined and the message appears in red And the strange thing is that the 10 dollars was with this card that is being declined
