Good Morning, I created this account using my personal github and gmail as auth system.

Now I want to chante it to corporative gmail.

What is the safe way to do that?

Thanks in advance.

You can unlink your Gmail account at https://railway.com/account and relink it with the new Gmail account.

Thanks for the fast answer.

However, thats my concern: if I unlink Google, how do I guarantee I don't lock

myself out before I manage to relink? I have production apps on this

account, so losing access even temporarily is not an option.

Context:

  • Account created via my personal GitHub; personal Gmail also linked.

  • Repos were originally in my personal GitHub with auto-deploy. I later

created a GitHub org, moved one project into it, and deployments kept

    working fine.

  • End goal: be able to log-in on railway without using my personal gmail account.

Questions:

  1. What is the safe order of operations to swap the linked Google account

without risking lockout? Is email magic-link login guaranteed to work

as a fallback while Google is disconnected?

  2. Does disconnecting Google or changing my account email have ANY effect

on the GitHub App that drives deployments, or are login identity and

    deployment integration fully independent?

  3. For giving partners access: is a Workspace with invited members the

recommended route, and does the Hobby plan allow inviting members, or

    is Pro required for that?

You would still be able to use Github to log in. Unlinking/relinking your Google won't affect Github repos.

IIRC you need to be on the Pro plan to invite members to your workspace. https://railway.com/pricing

You can invite members into your project though.
