Change payment method from card to credits (Or deposit credits to account)

I have had an account for almost a year, always using the hobby plan, and I have always paid the bill with a card, but now I would like to be able to deposit credits so that the credits are used up first and then the card is charged.

The problem is that I don't see the option to deposit credits, how can I deposit credits to my account from a card, I assumed it would be in the billing tab but nothing

BTW, I have already searched for docs, youtube tutorials and chat-gpt, and I still can't find how to do it

Acording to docs:

But in the billing don't have any option to do so:
There is no option to buy credits

Hello,

Really sorry that we haven't made this information clear, I will make a note to add it to the docs.

In the meantime, here is what you need to do to switch from an automatic payment plan to a prepaid plan -

1. Cancel your current plan, we do not shut down your services until the end of your would be billing cycle.

2. Sign back up to Hobby, but this time choosing to load credits.

3. The minimum amount of credits you can load is $10, so do that and you will then be on the credit based Hobby plan.

I'm sorry to bother you so much, but if I'm so insistent it's because I love this platform and I'm willing to put in the work to improve it and keep growing. Without further ado, here's my feedback:

I was able to access the option to cancel the plan, which makes the following message appear in the billing tab:

Up to this point I assume that I've done the cancellation process correctly.

The problem I find is when I go to the upgrade page (https://railway.app/account/upgrade), on this page I don't see the option to 'Sign back up to with a different billing model', I only get the 'Welcome to the Hobby Plan' page. (BTW, nice cool train animation)

This yellow arrow is basically where i get stuck:

One possible option that occurs to me is that I have to wait until the end of the month for my plan to 'officially expire' and at that time make the change. This option doesn't bother me, but I do consider that if it is the case in the doc it should be specified.

Interesting, I've had users who have been able to successfully cancel and sign back up on the credit model so I'm not sure what's happening here.

I'll go through this process again.

I'd also like to note that on the credit based plan, once your credits are used up your services will be shut down, the credit-based plan is only credit based, it will not fall back to charging your card.

Nice, now it clearly explains that you have to wait until the end of the current billing period (in my case) to be able to change.

I'm waiting until sep-30/aug-1 to change the plan, and will post here my experience.
