I've changed my database region to europe (previously it was US-1) and lost my volume connection. Then I've restored the database region to match the volume region (both US-1) but now I cannot connect to it (password authentication failed).

Hello,
The data tab can connect to the database, meaning the password is set correctly.
Please make sure you have the variables set correctly on your applications.
Best,
Brody

Hi! Thanks for your reply! The data tab is loading infinitely It's 6661663d-36cf-478a-9dea-da77e7ccdec7 dashboard-db service in 'staging' env.

Ah gotcha, looks like you linked the incorrect service when creating this thread, so I was looking at the database in the production environment.
I've restored the password for you, but going forward please be more careful.

Thank you! My bad for linking the wrong service I haven't understood what I did wrong tho; I've switched to metal instances through the UI and it hadn't warned about a password reset or smt.

Changing the password was something you did, we do not change the password nor do we have any system to do that to begin with.

I can assure you that I did not change it; I'm not saying that you did it on purpose, maybe there's a bug that occurs when changing to metal instances. Btw the db now is empty and its table definitions are obsolete.

From my side, I don't see the data browser broken anymore. Is this still the case that the data is not synced?

The data browser indeed works but the issue is that it'is connected to the wrong volume; this *apparatus-volume* contains some tables but thery're all empty and also they are the tables defined for chatbot-db, not dashboard-db! That's probably why I could not connect the volume to the container. The dashboard-db original volume is nowhere to be found Sorry I've just noticed that.

That would explain it, I wouldn't know what happened to your original volume if you didn't delete it.

Me neither, if you look at the logs of 6 days ago when I changed the deployment of dashboard-db to metal in the Netherlands I don't see any log of a volume delete

I am unsure then how to help you. No one else on the platform has reported something like this.

Luckily it was the staging environment so no worries. I won't do the migration on production tho for now
